We have had a time of turbulent weather with with, intense thunder and lightening and heavy rain than has persevered rather than pass over. A jazz concert at the ecluse turned into an evening of ancient occitan dances, we joined in. Walking through the Poet’s garden n Bezier we were pleased to see no cats this year (it is a bird sanctuary).
We had a lovely dinner with Antony and Vincente at their house outside with the cycads and a beautiful sunset. The concert at the old bridge was rained out but who knows what will happen tonight, it is music time in the ports. last night we found a pub and sat and talked to some young men about vegetables, one of them has developed a cross between a tomato and an aubergine. We were not quite sure why they kept buying us drinks but we had a great time talking and playing with their border collie. Windy agin to-day and more research for Fernhill dinners this evening.
