A Perfect Week!
We picked up Alex from the tiny railway station at Marseiilan Plage, only about thee trains a day stop there and a weird bus timetable. Such good timing for a visit. There was a terrific Brocante, now held in the main street, on Friday and the amazing artisan pottery market on Saturday and Sunday.
Simon’s 61st birthday was celebrated in style as we started on Thursday night to include NZ time when he was born with dinner at table d’Emilie in the centre of time, a truly delicious meal in every way. Then on Friday we biked to the oyster farms and had oysters and mussels for lunch, Friday night  a soriee at Rue Gailiee and on Saturday went to the ‘Reveal’ party to find out if Antonia is having a boy or a girl (a girl!), lively and very special occasion. Alex went back to Antwerp first thing on Sunday morning and we are doing a clean up before going to Bouzigues and then Sete.
